What ages do you accept?

We accept children from 4 months to 5 years of age. Our mixed-age environment allows children to learn from and support each other.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. We are closed on weekends and major holidays.

Where are you located?

We are located at 9650 Susies Way, Ellicott City, MD 21042, in Howard County, Maryland.

Enrollment

How do I enroll my child?

Contact us to express your interest, then complete our enrollment application. We'll schedule a family meeting to tour our space, followed by an admission decision and registration.

Is there a waiting list?

Depending on availability, there may be a waiting list. We encourage you to contact us as early as possible to secure a spot for your child.

Do you offer a trial period?

Yes, we offer a trial period so your child can adjust to the new environment. This helps us ensure it's a great fit for both the child and our program.

Daily Life

What does a typical day look like?

Our day includes a structured routine of free play, circle time, learning activities, outdoor play, meals, nap time, and story time. Infants follow a flexible schedule based on their individual needs.

Are meals and snacks provided?

Yes! We provide a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack daily. All meals are prepared fresh and follow healthy eating guidelines.

How much outdoor time do children get?

Children enjoy outdoor play daily, weather permitting. Our outdoor area provides space for active play, exploration, and motor skills development.

Health & Safety

What is your sick child policy?

Children who are ill with a fever, vomiting, or contagious conditions must stay home until they are symptom-free for 24 hours. This protects all children in our care.

Are you licensed?

Yes, we are a State of Maryland licensed family child care provider (License #254170). Our provider has over 200 hours of professional training.

What safety measures are in place?

Our home meets all Maryland safety standards including childproofing, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and emergency preparedness plans. We are CPR and First Aid certified.
